Privacy Policy for Solo Streak

Ikitai Apps ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application, Solo Streak, collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use the app.

1. Information Collection and Storage

Solo Streak is local-first. You can use the timer, graph, and streak calendar without creating an account. Some features are optional and only run if you turn them on or use sign-in.

• On-Device Data: Timer duration, an in-progress countdown, selected quotes, session history, and streak calendar days are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes this local copy.
• Optional Google Sign-In: If you choose Sign in to sync, Google provides your name, email address, user ID, and profile photo so we can create or recognize your Solo Streak account. We do not ask for a password in the app.
• Cloud Sync: When you are signed in, we store your session history and streak calendar in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) under your account so the same data can appear on your other devices. An in-progress timer stays on that device only and is not synced.
• What we do not collect: We do not ask for your location, contacts, photos, or files. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Device Permissions and Services

To function properly, Solo Streak utilizes the following device permissions and background services:

• Foreground Service & System Notifications: The app uses a background foreground service solely to display a persistent notification showing your active countdown timer when the app is minimized.
• Audio Playback: The app accesses device media services strictly to play the local alarm audio file when a timer reaches zero.
• Notification Permissions: We request permission to send local notifications so you receive completion alerts when your timer finishes.
• Internet Access: Used for optional sign-in, cloud sync, advertising, and app analytics. The core timer works offline.

3. Third-Party Services and Advertising

Depending on how you use the app, data may be processed by these providers:

• Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore): account sign-in and optional cloud backup of session history and streak days. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
• Google Sign-In: used only when you tap sign in. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob: Solo Streak may display banner and rewarded ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or your device advertising identifier to serve ads. You can manage personalized ads in your device’s Google Settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
• Meta / Facebook App Events: the app may send app-lifecycle and advertising measurement events, including an advertising identifier where allowed. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.

4. Account Deletion

If you created a Solo Streak account with Google, you can delete it at any time.

• In the app: open the menu, then tap Delete account and confirm. This permanently deletes your Firebase account and the cloud backup of your session history and streak days.
• If you cannot open the app: email getterromance@gmail.com from the Google address you used to sign in, with the subject “Solo Streak account deletion.” We will delete the account and associated cloud data within 30 days.

Deleting your account does not automatically erase sessions already saved on a phone or tablet. You can clear history in the app, or uninstall the app / clear app data to remove the local copy. Your Google account itself is not deleted — only the Solo Streak account linked to it.

5. Children’s Privacy

Solo Streak is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has signed in, contact us and we will delete that account and cloud data.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any updates.
